The Wisconsin Science Museum focuses on Wisconsin's unique history and continuous success as an innovative center of science, engineering, and biotechnology. The museum is temporarily located at 211 N. Carroll St. on the 6th floor, and shares its space with the downtown Madison College. Come and explore our exhibits!
At the Wisconsin Science Museum, we celebrate the incredible science, technology, and biotech discoveries that happened right here and helped change the world. We honor the Wisconsin scientists of the past and present and hope to inspire the scientists of the future with hands-on exhibits and learning for all ages.

Science is not static – it is ever growing and changing as we unravel more pieces of the puzzle that is our universe. Science and biotechnology are a significant part of Madison’s story, and we plan on encouraging community pride and participation in its next chapters.
There is no admission fee to visit the museum. Free will donations are gladly accepted. The Wisconsin Science Museum is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.

Parking is available across the street from the museum at the Carroll Street Capitol Parking Garage, 214 N. Carroll Street, Madison WI.
